Why choose this course?

This Stress Management training course looks in depth at what stress is, how it impacts on the workplace, and how you can manage stress in the workplace effectively. Stress can often be helped early on and in some cases prevented, so we cover techniques on how to implement preventative approaches.

Stress is an incredibly common occurrence in the workplace, with all the modern pressures and strains. With our training course, we can advise staff members and managers on how to deal with it most effectively in the workplace. This could be anything from small changes at home, or particular ways of managing staff members who appear to be stressed. We can help you recognise the early signs in staff, and importantly, yourself.

Many undermine stress as just ‘part of the job’, but it affects different people in very different ways. When stress becomes too much, in some cases this can lead to further mental health problems including depression, which can prove to be much more costly in the long term.

Course Aims

We will cover the full HSE Stress Management standards, concentrating on six key areas of work that, if not properly managed, are associated with poor health and mental well-being. This enables your business to show that it is being proactive to look after staff’s mental wellbeing by learning more about it.

By the end of the course, you can expect to feel more confident when dealing with stressful situations and how to approach those around you who may be suffering from stress. Learning about stress triggers will enable staff and managers alike to look after their own mental health more effectively, positively affecting the productivity of the business.
